Student Funding
Beauty Brand Academy has many different ways to fund your course.
Read below on some of the options we accept:
Private or Personal Loans:
As an alternative to the Dept of Education financial aid options, there are a couple private lenders we recommend…
Mountain America Credit Union. MACU is a local Salt Lake City Credit Union offering all types of financial products. They offer one-on-one service. Please contact the student loan department at 1-800-748-4302, or visit their website at www.macu.com to find a branch near you.
Credit Karma: If you log onto Credit Karma, click on the Personal Loans tab. They have resources to show you what loans you may qualify for.
State Funding:
Vocational Rehab: The state has a private sector called Vocational Rehabilitation that works with anyone who has ever had a medical diagnosis for a physical or mental disability to try and get them a career. They provide funding for students to go to school and get licensing or a degree that they require for the job of their choosing. If you already have an assigned counselor, please reach out to us with your counselors full name, email address, and phone number. If you’re interested in applying, you can follow the steps HERE.
Department of Workforce Services (DWS): Utah’s Department of Workforce Services also helps those in need of finding a job/career. They’re more flexible of who they accept into their program, but depending on the client/situation, they may not fund your entire tuition. For more information, please go HERE.
We are not currently accepting Financial Aid, FAFSA, or Pell Grants at this time. Please go HERE to be added to our waitlist.
In-House Funding:
We’re here to help! Beauty Brand Academy offers two options to help you with your tuition if you are in need.
Scholarships: Beauty Brand offers scholarships on a semi-annual basis. We will need your scholarship and enrollment applications submitted, and once accepted, we have a strict deadline of 14 business days to receive your downpayment towards your tuition if you need to hold your scholarship for a later date than the dates applied for. Payment Plans: Beauty Brand Academy offers in-house payment plans for 50% of your tuition. If you’re unable to come up with your full amount of tuition by your start date, we can help you. Rules and regulations apply. Please note: you MUST come up with a minimum of half of your tuition by your class start date in order to start classes. Remaining balance will be made up in 6 monthly payments. You may complete your state board tests at graduation, but we will not release your hours to the state until your tuition is paid in full.
